The Club offers exquisite food masterly prepared by an inspired Chef. Service is ensured under the direction of an experienced Maître d’hôtel who will recommend the right wine for your meal from the Club’s impressive wine cellar. Members can create their own private wine cellar in the Club’s cellar, a unique formula which lowers the cost of dining. What’s more the Club regularly organizes gourmet dinners and wine tasting events, a pleasant opportunity to mingle with other members and guests on an informal basis.

2 ) Ideal location

The Club is located at 2047 Mansfield Street just south of Sherbrooke Street West. It is situated in the heart of Montreal’s financial, arts and academic centers. The University Club is the only private club with direct access to Montreal’s underground city.

3 ) A wide range of activities

The Club expresses its uniqueness in many ways including the events it regularly hosts for members and their guests. These include gourmet dinners and wine tasting events, luncheon and dinner events with prominent guest speakers, theatrical, musical and cultural activities, as well as oyster parties and family events. These events are always well-attended and announced in the Club’s monthly newsletter.

4 ) Reciprocal arrangements: A ticket to the world

Our Club is part of a worldwide network of more than 90 private clubs. These reciprocal clubs offer dining privileges to our members and many offer overnight accommodations as well. An attractive and affordable formula if you travel frequently for business or leisure.
Three bedrooms in our Club may be reserved by members or their guests or by members of reciprocal clubs.

5 ) A room for your every need

Do you want to hold a cocktail reception, a private business or family dinner or a wedding? Or do you prefer one-on-one informal or business conversations in a congenial atmosphere? The Club has many rooms to accommodate your every need.

6 ) Competitive prices

The Club’s policy can be summed up in one word: flexibility. Annual dues for many categories of membership may be paid annually, semi-annually or monthly. Payment arrangements can also be made for Entrance fees. These fees and dues vary according to membership category, age and place of residence. Moreover, the Club requires no minimum bar or meal bill.
